Pattern Packer
Players: 2–6 Playtime: 20–45 Minutes
Setup
- The starting player (whoever’s outfit fits the colorscheme of your Hexominos best) selects the starting shape.
- Each player draws 5 pattern cards and selects 3 to keep as pattern goals.
- The next player selects the first piece to add to the building queue, then selection continues around the order of play until the queue has one more piece than there are players.
- The player who added to the queue last begins play.
Play
- Each turn a player may add a Hexomino from the queue to the group pattern, then replace it in the queue with the piece of their choice.
- If the piece added finishes a pattern of the player who placed the piece, they score — reveal that pattern and add the points to their total.
- Once a player has completed 2 of their patterns, their final card is revealed to the other players.
- Once a player completes their final pattern, the game is over.
Scoring
Whoever has the most points at the end of the game is the winner, regardless of whether they completed all of their patterns or not.
